He is a member of CDS Consulting Co-op, which provides produce consulting and educational services for Co-ops and independent retailers worldwide. With over 27 years of hands-on experience in the organic produce industry, Mark is well known for his creative merchandising, effective training techniques, his passion for produce, successful financial strategies and dedication to sustainable agriculture.

He is a prominent speaker at major events including the Ecological Farming Conference, Natural Products Expo East and West, Organic Trade Association’s All Things Organic Conference, Natural Products Expo Europe and the Consumer Cooperative Management Association Conference. He is a regular columnist for Natural Food Merchandiser, Natural Food Network, Cooperative Grocer and the Melissa’s World Variety Produce web magazine, Organic Solutions.

Mark’s acclaimed Language of flavor seminars teaches consumers how to have a new, fun, fresh relationship with their produce and his monthly organic produce newsletter Fresh Perspectives are used in stores nationwide.
