Helge’s newest project started with a dream – literally. Years ago, he woke up in the middle of the night realizing he had just dreamt an entire movie – his movie, complete with dialog, music, and credits at the end. It was called The Son of the Winemaker – the story of a boy who could see the history of the soil in every sip of wine he tasted.

At the time, Helge did not understand the significance his dream would have in his life. He started working in the organic world a month later unaware that he would be studying the meaning of his dream and the importance of soil for the next decade…

Homage to the interdependence of life, The Son of the Winemaker celebrates the human capacity to heal and to break the cycle of pain transferred from generation to generation, and beautifully underlines the soil’s transformational role in this process.
